Qantas Frequent Flyer points - terms and conditions

Members of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program are able to receive Qantas Frequent Flyer points when purchasing a QBE International Comprehensive Policy, QBE Annual Multi Trip Policy or QBE Australian Comprehensive Policy.

Qantas Frequent Flyer points are not currently available on the QBE Budget Policy, QBE Australian Cancellation & Additional Expenses Policy or QBE Inbound Policy.

One point is received for every $2 spent on eligible policies, helping you to accumulate points and earn rewards more quickly. To earn and redeem points, the main insured adult must be an active member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. If not currently a member, you can apply for membership online to become eligible to earn points (a joining fee may apply). Entering your membership number

To receive points, simply enter your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number on the Traveller Details screen when purchasing an eligible policy online (below the name and address fields). If don’t have your member number on hand when booking the policy, it can be added at a later date (more information on updating your policy).

Where two adults are listed on a policy, the Qantas Frequent Flyer membership must be in the name of the first adult on the policy to ensure that points are awarded.

Receiving points

Points will be awarded up to 6 weeks after the departure date, or in the case of the QBE Annual Multi Trip Policy, up to 6 weeks after the commencement of the period of insurance. Please contact our office if the points have not been credited to your account within 6 weeks of the departure date (or commencement date).
