Toursafe Travel Insurance for Seniors (previously Toursafe Mature Age Travel Insurance) is no longer issued under a separate product disclosure statement. Subject to maximum trip durations, the International Travel Plan and the Australian Travel Plan are now available to residents of Australia, regardless of age. The Annual Multi Trip Travel Plan continues to be available to residents of Australia under the age of 70 at the time the policy is issued.

It is necessary for all travellers aged over 70 years to apply for an assessment for mature age travel insurance cover before a policy is issued, regardless of state of health. This can be done online at the time of getting a quote by providing answers to health related questions, or by completing a Travellers Medical Declaration Form. Assessment for cover
Mature age travellers who are 70 years of age and over who are travelling internationally must obtain an assessment for cover before booking their travel insurance policy. An assessment is generally provided by QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited within 24-48 hours.
