The QBE Elements Travel Plan provides budget travel insurance to cover the essentials when travelling, such as medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation, and personal liability. The policy incorporates reduced applicable limits and benefits to provide a low cost option for budget travellers, and also includes cover up to set limits for luggage and personal effects, cancellation and holiday deferment costs, and more. The policy has a $100 excess (an excess will apply to each claim which arises as a result
of each separate set of circumstances.).

No cover for snow sports or cruising
QBE Elements budget travel insurance does not include cover under any section of the policy for snow sports or cruising. Travellers who will be cruising for four or more consecutive days or who intend to participate in snow sports over the course of their trip should consider the QBE International Travel Plan with the required additional cover upgrade for snow sports and/or cruising.

Availability and extensions
The QBE Elements Travel Plan is available to residents of Australia under the age of 65 at the time the Certificate of Insurance is issued, and must be booked prior to the commencement of the trip. Budget travel insurance policies can be purchased up to 6 months before the trip departure date, and can be extended an unlimited number of times up to a maximum of 12 months from the departure date. |
