The QBE Australian Travel Plan provides domestic travel insurance for travel within Australia, and is available to residents of Australia regardless of age. Benefit from cover for lost or stolen luggage, cancellation or holiday deferment costs, emergency travel arrangements and accommodation expenses, rental vehicle excess, personal liability and more – with policies underwritten by QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited. Rental vehicle excess
The QBE Australian Travel Plan includes $3,000 rental vehicle insurance excess cover in the event of an accident or theft of a rented car, campervan, motorcycle or boat. The level of cover under the rental vehicle excess cover benefit can increased for an additional premium. Additional cover can be purchased for an amount of $20 per additional $500 cover (up to a maximum additional cover of $5,000).

The QBE Australian Cancellation Travel Plan is also available for travellers who only want to cover the non-refundable part of pre-paid travel arrangements.
